About Lee’s Tae Kwon Do Academy

Lee's Tae Kwon Do Academy was founded in 1975 in West Palm Beach, FL, but Grand Master Kwan Sung Lee began his study of this Korean art of self-defense over 50 years ago. He started teaching Tae Kwon Do at Oh San U.S. Air Force Base in Korea. His students were primarily U.S. Armed Forces personnel and their families.
Grand Master Chang Yong Lee is an 8th degree Black belt, and is the owner and master instructor at Lee's Tae Kwon Do Academy in Radcliff, KY.
Grand Master Chang Yong Lee has been training in Tae Kwon Do since 1969, and he has been the owner and master instructor of Lee's Tae Kwon Do Academy in Radcliff, KY since 1987.
His previous teaching experience includes the following:
1979-1986 - Assistant Instructor at the Louisville Academy
1986-1987 – Coordinator / Instructor of the Self-Defense Course at PRP High School
1988 - Instructor of Physical Fitness at Meade County High School
1991 - Certification by USTU as a United States Referee
1994 - Elected as Vice President of the Kentucky Tae Kwon Do Association. Coordinator / Instructor of Women's Self-Defense Course
2003 - Elected as President of Kentucky Tae Kwon Do Association
